Born and raised in Portland, Oregon I grew up with a deep love and appreciation for film. I was inspired by the beauty of the images I saw in movies as a child. I always wondered who was behind the camera telling these stories visually and I wanted to learn their craft.
I studied documentary production and journalism at the University of Oregon where I earned my bachelors degree. I have worked as freelance cinematographer and camera operator for over a decade. My credits range from feature films, travel television, live sports broadcast to commercial and corporate productions. I have had the opportunity to travel the world with my camera and learn so much about storytelling. I enjoy both the artistic and technical aspects of cinematography and strive to create images and stories that resonate with the audience.
